Voluntary forest certification is the process of enterprise activity assessment for compliance with international standards and requirements in the sphere of forest management and trade in forest
products.

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council ^®) is a scheme of voluntary forest certification with the main mission to promote ecologically responsible, socially profitable and economically viable management of world forests.

The enterprises of the Region-Les company group are responsible forest managers that accepted the voluntary obligation to comply with the requirements and standards of the voluntary forest certification in accordance with the FSC scheme. The logging activities carried out by our enterprises have been certified according to the FSC scheme since 2013 The supply chain of LLC Region-Les has been certified according to the FSC scheme since 2015.

The Sustainable Biomass Program (SBP) is a certification system developed for wood biomass, mainly in the form of pellets and chip used in industrial large-scale energy production. SBP has developed a certification system to ensure that wood biomass comes from legitimate and sustainable sources, and the production site has established a procedure to account for the energy costs of pellet and chip production.

Since 2019, the Shenkursk division of Region-Les LLC has been certified in accordance with the requirements of SBP standards.
At the production of the Arkhangelsk division, measures are currently being taken to implement the requirements of SBP standards and conduct an appropriate inspection assessment.

Supply Base Reports of Region-les LLC

As required by the SBP regulations, the biomass producer is should to publish annually Supply Base Reports, which is the source for obtaining feedstock for biofuel production. Below you can see the Supply Base Reports of Region-Les LLC for each production unit.
